All Standing Data screens function in the same way.
Code
A unique code. The size of this field varies dependant on the type of Standing Data.
Description
The value entered here will be displayed on a screen whenever this code is chosen. Additional fields may be set up here as well.
Print
Output all Standing Data records to the screen or to a printer.
Close
Leave this screen and return to the previous menu.
Adding Data
Click on an empty Code field.
An arrowhead will appear in the leftmost box on the current line.
Enter the required Code. The arrow will turn into a pencil drawing a line, this indicates that the user is a updating mode.
Enter the other relevant fields for the required Code.
To save the information entered do one of the following:
Press Return whilst in the last field on the current line.
Click on any other line on the displayed screen.
Choose the Printer Button.
Choose Close.
To avoid saving any of the entered details, press Esc before doing any of the above actions.
Modifying Data
Choose the field that requires modification.
Overtype the existing information with the new details.
To save the updated information do one of the following:
Press Return whilst in the last field on the current line.
Click on any other line on the displayed screen.
Choose the Printer Button.
Choose Close.
To avoid saving any of the modified details, press Esc before doing any of the above actions.
Deleting Data
Use the mouse to choose the line that requires deletion by clicking in the relevant leftmost box (the box with the arrowhead in it). The arrowhead will change colour and the box itself will take on a sunken appearance. This indicates that the record is selected for deletion.
