Finding Data

 
The WiSeMan System allows flexible querying on the majority of displayed fields on a screen.
 
This option allows the user to search for existing records in the Current screen.
 
All fields that can be queried will be displayed in yellow, e.g.
 
 
This system uses two types of fields, Alpha-Numeric and Dates.
 
A number of Alpha-Numeric Querying Options and Date Field Querying Options are available.
 
Enter the relevant selection criteria.
 
Choose OK to search for any matching records.
Choose Cancel to avoid searching for the records.
 
If any matching records are found the displayed will turn from yellow to white and the first of the matching records will be displayed.
 
If no matches are found the following message will be displayed:
 
 
Click the OK button to clear this message. The screen will remain in query-mode so the user can alter the selection criteria and re-query.
