Global Update

 
Use this option to make global changes to data in the WiSeMan back-end database, e.g. changing Site Codes from ABC1 to DEF2.
 
Only use this option under direct supervision from Quartz Computing Limited.

Table

Use the drop-down box to select the table that you want to update, e.g. LiveCard

Set Field

Use the drop-down box to select the field in the selected table that you want to update, e.g. SiteCode.

To:

Enter the value that you want to update the selected field to, e.g. DEF2.

Search Field

Use the drop-down box to select the field in the selected table that you want to search for, e.g. SiteCode.

Search Value

Enter the value of selected field that you want to update, e.g. ABC1.

Update Records

Click this button to perform the global update.
 
You will be presented with a pop-up window which informs you how many records will be updated:
 
 
Click Yes to perform the update. This operation cannot be reversed.
 
Click No to avoid making the changes.

Close

Use this option to return to the System Management menu.
