Use this option to create a back-up copy of the back-end database and / or compact the database to reduce its size.
This option will check that no-one is using the WiSeMan system whilst this option is run.
Back-Up Database
Tick this box to perform a back-up of the WiSeMan database. Untick this box to avoid performing the back-up. This box is ticked by default.
Compact Database
Tick this box to perform a compact of the WiSeMan database. The database will be backed up before the Compact operation takes place. Untick this box to avoid performing the compact. This box is unticked by default.
Back-Up / Compact
Use this option to perform the Back-Up and / or the Compact of the back-end database.
The system will check that no other users are in WiSeMan and will only proceed if everyone else is logged out.
The system will displayed the following message:
If you answer No then no action will take place
If you answer Yes, the system will check if there are no users currently using WiSeMan. If there are, no action will be taken. If there are no users logged in, the back-end database will be backed-up and / or compacted depending on which boxes have been ticked.
After the back-up / compact has taken place, the following message will be displayed:
Click OK to clear this message and return to the Back-Up / Compact screen.
