There are a number of system keys set up that determine how the Inward Visits System will function:

This key is just a placeholder and is not used.
IV__DATA
Where is the Inward Visits Data
This key is currently not used.
IV__INSTALLED
Is the Inward Visits System Installed?
This key is currently not used.
IV_LAST_NO
Last Inward Visits Number Used
Each Inward Visit requires a unique identifier. This key is used to generate the number if the user leaves the Visit Number field blank.
This number is stored as a ten digit zero-filled number, e.g. 0000015631.
This number will not need resetting.
IV_NATIONALITY
Nationality of Inward Visitors
The key holds the default value for the nationality of new Inward Visitors.
The default value is British.
IV_PASS_TYPE
Default Pass Type for Inward Visits
This key the default value for the colour of the pass issued to the Inward Visitor.
The default value is RED.
IV_TELEPHONE
Telephone Number for Inward Visit queries
This key holds the Telephone Number that is printed on the Daily Visit List.
The default value is Blank - No Telephone Number.
IV_TRANSFER
Transfer Data to Access Entry System?
This key is only used by GEC Marconi Defence & Radar Systems for linking the Inward Visitors to the installed Access Entry System.
If set to Y then when an individual arrives and is issued with a pass this information is sent to the Access System to authorise the visitor pass. When the visitor is marked as leaving, this information will be sent to the Access System to release the pass for another visitor.
If set to N the no information will be sent to the Access System.
