 Adding General Notes

 
This option allows the user to enter general information regarding the displayed record.
 
Only users with Add Permissions for the current module can enter or amend General Notes for the displayed record.
 
On clicking the Notes button, a new screen will be displayed, showing any existing notes for the current record, e.g.
 
 
To add new information or change existing data choose the Change button.
Choose Close to close this window and return to the original screen.
 
 
If the Change option is selected, the system will check user permissions and, if there is adequate permission, will display the Notes area in yellow, e.g.
 
 
Choose OK to accept all changes made to the selected record.
Choose Cancel to avoid saving the changes.
