Use this option to add, update or delete BPSS Authorisation Number Formats.
To add a new Format, go to the empty row at the bottom of the record list.
Format
Use this field to specify the Format required for this numbering system.
The format can be a maximum of 7characters in length.
It is a specific Format consisting of 2 digits, a company-specific 2 character abbreviation, and 3 further digits.
Use a series of # signs to show WiSeMan where to generate the numbering.
Last Number Used
This is a system-maintained field and should only be set to 00xx000 when the Format is first created, where xx is the company-specific 2 character abbreviation.
The last 3 digits are incremented each time a BPSS Authorisation Number is created. When that number will exceed 999, the first two digits of the Format are incremented and the last 3 digits are reset to 001.
e.g. 00DD998 --> 00DD999 --> 01DD001
Description
Use this field to give a brief description of the specific Format, e.g. BPSS Clearance Company 1. The description will be displayed in the 'Choose a Format' pop-up box when an Application Form BPSS Authorisation Number is generated.
Site Code
This is an optional field. It allows different Formats to be created for multi-site installations.
Use the drop-down box to select a Site Code which has already been set up in the relevant Standing Data table.
Print
Use this option to produce a Summary Report of the information displayed on this screen.
