Material Tracking System: Destruction Notices

Once an item is no longer required to be controlled it can be destroyed. Once it has been destroyed it can then be removed from Current Material and sent to Archived Material.

There must always be proof that an item has been destroyed, and to cater for this its details can be listed on a Destruction Notice. The Notice is then signed by the person destroying the Material and a witness to the destruction. The hard-copy of the notice can then be kept as proof of destruction in accordance with the current regulations.

The Destruction Notices screen allows the creation of a Destruction Notice, Adding Items to the Notice, Printing the Notice and finally Marking All Items As Destroyed.

The Destruction Notices screen allows the setting up of the Notice Header information and allows easy selection of items to be placed on the Notice.

The Destruction Notices screen allows the user to print the Notice and finally mark the Notice as Destroyed which automatically updates the items with the Destruction Number and Destroyed Date.

Once an Item has been marked as Destroyed it may no longer be amended.

Once a Notice has been marked as Destroyed it may no longer be amended.

If the system finds that an item on a Destruction Notice is still issued to an individual whilst being destroyed it will automatically Return the Item.
