Standing Data: Classification Codes

 
The data entered in this screen is used to determine the Classification Level of an item being entered onto the system.
 
Information must be entered into this table before any Classified Material, IVCO Visits or Contracts are added.
 
Classification Codes
1

Classification

Enter a unique code up to 10 characters in length, e.g. TS

Description

An indication as to the type of Classification the particular code refers to.
 
This description is only used for display purposes, e.g. Top Secret.

Security Level

A number specifying the Security Level attached to the particular Classification Code.
 
This value is used by the Material Tracking System in conjunction with the Clearance Level Security Level to determine if a person has sufficient access to receive a document. The higher the number the more secure a Classification.

IVCO Classification

This field is not currently used.

Use this option to produce a Summary Report of the information displayed on this screen.
